On Wednesday, 15 October at 6 p.m., our current AIR_Frankfurt guest artist Shia Yih Yiing will talk about her artistic practice and her project ideas. The three-month residency in Frankfurt is taking place in cooperation with Lostgens' and the Goethe-Institut Kuala Lumpur.

We cordially invite you to Hillel Roman’s opening performance Crossing\Drifting September 10 at 5 p.m.
Hillel Roman is based in Tel-Aviv, his works deal with various aspects of the political, visual and technological order and their interconnectedness. His practice searches for the connection between the universal and the local, and consists of charcoal drawings, large-scale participatory constructions, and the invention of futile machines.

Wir laden Sie herzlich zur Eröffnungs-Performance Crossing\Drifting von Hillel Roman am 10. September um 17 Uhr ein.
Hillel Roman lebt in Tel Aviv und beschäftigt sich in seinen Arbeiten mit verschiedenen Aspekten der politischen, visuellen und technologischen Ordnung und deren Verflechtung. Seine Praxis sucht nach der Verbindung zwischen dem Universellen und dem Lokalen und besteht aus Kohlezeichnungen, groß angelegten partizipativen Konstruktionen und der Erfindung sinnloser Maschinen.

On Wednesday, August 20 at 6 PM, our current AIR_Frankfurt guest artist Seokwoo Song will talk about the artistic practices and approaches that have developed throughout his ongoing series from the past to the present. His three-month residency in Frankfurt is taking place in cooperation with MMCA Residency Goyang. He will discuss how he stages scenes and approach images through the traces and density revealed within the layered “relationships” embedded in his work.

Am Mittwoch, den 20. August um 18 Uhr wird unser aktueller AIR_Frankfurt Gastkünstler Seokwoo Song über seine künstlerische Praxis und seine Projektideen sprechen. Seine dreimonatige Residency in Frankfurt findet in Kooperation mit MMCA Residency Goyang statt. Er wird darüber sprechen, wie er seine Szenen inszeniert und sich den Bildern nähert, indem er die Spuren und die Dichte nutzt, die sich in den vielschichtigen „Beziehungen“ seiner Werke offenbaren.
