On Wednesday, May 28 at 6 PM, our current AIR_Frankfurt guest artist Villő Juhász will talk about diferrent circumstances shaped and influenced her artistic interests in past few years, as well as about her artistic process and methodology.
Her two-month residency in Frankfurt is in cooperation with Budapest Gallery.
Am Mittwoch, den 28. Mai um 18 Uhr wird unsere aktuelle AIR_Frankfurt-Gastkünstlerin Villő Juhász über verschiedene Aspekte sprechen, die ihre künstlerische Praxis in den letzten Jahren geprägt und beeinflusst haben, sowie über ihre künstlerische Vorgehensweise und Methodik.
Ihre zweimonatige Residency in Frankfurt findet in Kooperation mit Budapest Gallery statt.
Artist talk with Franziska Wildt and Fabian Ginsberg
on Wednesday, April 2 at 7 pm in the reading room of basis e.V.
The starting point for the artist talk between Franziska Wildt and Fabian Ginsberg is Franziska's work “ANTIGONEPROBEN”, which can be seen in the current exhibition at basis. The work deals with the persecution of the Greek left during the civil war and examines the role of art in their resistance.

Ausgangspunkt des Künstler:innengesprächs zwischen Franziska Wildt und Fabian Ginsberg ist Franziskas Arbeit “ANTIGONEPROBEN”, die in der aktuellen Ausstellung der basis zu sehen ist. Die Arbeit setzt sich mit der Verfolgung der griechischen Linken während des Bürgerkriegs auseinander und untersucht die Rolle der Kunst für deren Widerstand.

At the Black Box exhibition, Sasha Velichko presents a poignant reflection on propaganda-driven manipulation and the resilience of Belarusian society. In her projects State of Denial and Form of Defiance, she compels viewers to confront the absurdity of arbitrary arrests and the repressive mechanisms of the Belarusian regime.

In ihren Projekten State of Denial und Form of Defiance zwingt sie die Betrachter:innen, sich mit der Absurdität willkürlicher Verhaftungen und den repressiven Mechanismen des belarussischen Regimes auseinanderzusetzen.
