The jour fixe initiative frankfurt organizes thematic series of events dealing with issues relating to art, society, culture and politics from an emancipatory perspective. In cooperation with basis e.V., the series "The Future of Progress", "Politics and Truth" and "Dialectics of Technology" (together with the jour fixe initiative berlin) have taken place to date.

The jour fixe initiative frankfurt will take a break in winter 2023/24. From autumn 2024, we will continue with the event series "The Future of History": in lectures and events, we will address the role of history in social and cultural change processes and ask about the driving forces that have driven change in the past - and may also set it in motion in the future.
