The exhibition is part of the AIR_Frankfurt residency at basis by Michal BarOr in collaboration with Artport in Tel Aviv and Jade Sujin Lee in collaboration with MMCA, Korea. The artists use the basis project space as an experimental field for new works.

Jade Sujin LEE explores a range of invisible signs which appear in particular border areas of the everyday world. LEE imagines an arbitrary virtual world in which all beings, including humans, construct themselves. She overlaps 'sci-fi imagination to transcend the present,' and the 'primitive vitality that revives (or rehabilitates)’-which transform the state of 'confrontation and conflict' that has been continuously manifested since the transition to industrial society into a situation of them through various creative forms that encompass spatial installation, performance, narration, and video.

The works in the exhibition represent a continuation of Michal Baror's engagement with the deconstruction and analysis of historical narratives through the disruption of knowledge systems, objects, and photographs. It constitutes a research and experimental phase within a long-term project that utilizes the collection of photographs owned by the ׳The Man and His Work Center׳ with in Muza.
