Ruinen, die geschmückt mit schwarz-gelbem Warnband, seltsam anthropomorphe Züge annehmen, ein Schwarm Vögel der in märchenhafter Umgebung vor einem futuristisch anmutenden Turm seine Kreise zieht, ein verlassener Schreibtisch unter einem gläsernen Kubus, der inmitten eines Parks zu fluoreszieren scheint.

With a video/painting installation, Heaven Baek continues her investigation into the formation of certain political and social groups and the making of ideological divisions. Her most recent research-based project focuses on the relationship between the German Bund der Vertriebenen and the Committee of the Five North Korean Provinces in South Korea.
