The City of Frankfurt has conducted an Artist in Residence Program since many years. Around 100 artists from Frankfurt have enjoyed the opportunity of a cultural interchange and just as many artists from abroad have taken part in the program here. Air Antwerpen is the belgian partner of this exchange program.

Bert Jacobs, who is now (via Air Antwerpen) Artist in Residence in Frankfurt, invites artists from Belgium for a group show, Exhibition XIX in Frankfurt ́s cultural dynamics. This group exhibition zooms in on different ways of approaching and exploring an unusual reality by means of video, objects, drawings and performances.

The opening will take place on Thursday, October 30, at 7 pm.
