Our current residency artist Heaven Baek from Seoul will open the doors of her AIR_Frankfurt guest studio and give an insight into her current projects.

Heaven Baek’s practice explores how people work, gather and play in various situations or during particular occasions, forming groups and outlining territories. Her recent project is a research based on illustrating division and ideological territories in Korea also in its relation to Germany.

Baek lives and works in Seoul, South Korea. Recent exhibitions include Imagined Boders, Gwangju Biennale (2018), and Caesura, Glasgow International (2014). She has participated in residency programmes internationally, including at Gasworks, UK (2016), MMCA, Korea (2015), Arts Maebashi, Japan (2014) and Hangar, Spain (2011).

The artist talk will take place in English in the AIR_Frankfurt studio, Gutleutstraße 8-12, 1st floor.
