Would you sit down on a toilet in a pub? Me neither.

In the past few years Villö Juhasz thought a lot about what a nuisance it can be to go to the toilet as a AFAB individual when you’re not at home. In this project the artist creates alternative toilets, where AFAB-individuals can pee more comfortably, considering the anatomical capabilities of our body and the results of scientific studies about how we should actually do this. These toilets are as logical and ridiculos as the ones we use everyday.

The artist is showing her latest works, which she realised within the framework of the AIR_Frankfurt residency in cooperation with Budapest Gallery from Mai to June 2025.

In the last week of June, Villő Juhász will open the doors of her studio and present a selection of her earlier works. Visitors are warmly invited to engage in conversation with the artist and to purchase her art.
