From September 7th to 8th, the production and exhibition platform basis e.V. opens its doors! During this weekend, basis SOMMERSCHAU offers an excellent opportunity to get to know the multifaceted activities of basis e.V., including the artists funded by basis, the curated exhibition space and the various international exchange programmes. You can join themed tours of the studios, artist talks, performances and a short film programme. In a temporary art market installed for the duration of the exhibition, you will also have the opportunity to purchase small-format works by the artists. Another highlight is the opening of the exhibition "Rest in Soil, in Water, in Waithood", curated by Ana Raquel Machava as part of the "Curator in Residence Programme".
