Contemporary artist Ella Littwitz (*1982, Haifa, Israel) is based in Jaffa, Israel. Her work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at renowned institutions, most recently at CCA Tel Aviv, Kunsthalle St Gallen, La Panera Art Center, MWW Muzeum Współczesne Wrocław, and Salzburger Kunstverein. Her current exhibition at basis e.V. is the artist's first comprehensive institutional solo exhibition in Germany and presents new productions as well as a selection of works from recent years.

Ella Littwitz speaks about her work and the genesis of her artistic practice with Vardit Gross, curator, writer, and the director of Artport Tel Aviv Art Center, a leading contemporary art center and home to Israel’s most prestigious residency program. 

The artist talk will be held in English and is part of the accompanying programme of our current exhibition Red Mercury.
