Curator in Residence 2022

During her residency at basis e.V., Adriana will get familiar with the artistic community in Frankfurt by having studio visits and interviewing artists for Living Content the curatorial platform that she runs.
For the exhibition planned in September, she is exploring how the theoretical framework of The Frankfurt School can be tactically applied in relation to contemporary art, to instigate reflection and action on the climate crisis. Thus, she will be looking at artists based in Frankfurt and beyond, that are interested in exploring the nature-culture divide, the extractive character of modern industries, and what could constitute a less alienated existence in the age of climate destruction.
