In their performances, Bouillon Group reference the multifaceted culture of their home country as well as the reality of life in post-Soviet Georgia, often adopting a critical perspective when doing so. With their explicitly performative approach they focus on transcending the boundaries between life and art. It is particularly by drawing on regional traditions and transferring them artistically into new contexts that Bouillon Group reveals many historical and social levels of meaning.
Alongside the video documentation of a selection of past projects, all three performances of the Social Aerobics trilogy will be presented live for the first time within the framework of the exhibition.
Bouillon by Bouillon is contribution to the Official Guest of Honour Program of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2018.

Protest is the second performance from the Social Aerobics trilogy.
Within the performance, political gestures and protest movements are transformed into a choreographed physical expression that reflects on various forms of protest.
Everybody is invited to join the performance!
