Liebe basis,
nun sind ein paar Wochen ins Land gegangen seit sich die Coronakrise hier vor Ort verschärft hat. Seit dem ist viel passiert. Kontaktsperren wurden verhängt, Geschäfte und Institutionen geschlossen und kulturelle Veranstaltungen wurden abgesagt. Gleichzeitig hat der Bund diverse Hilfspakete auf den Weg gebracht, die vielfach beantragt wurden.
Gerne möchten wir in diesem Zusammenhang mit euch in Kontakt treten und nach euren aktuellen Erfahrungen fragen. Wie geht ihr mit der Krise um? Woran arbeitet ihr gerade? Gibt es trotz Corona Kunstproduktion? Welche Erfahrungen werden mit Hilfsanträgen gemacht? Wie geht's weiter? Wie stellt ihr euch das Kulturleben nach der Krise vor?
Um auch der Öffentlichkeit einen direkten Einblick in die aktuelle künstlerische Produktion und ihrer Bedingungen zu ermöglichen, möchten wir euch einladen uns - bei Interesse - eure aktuellen Projekte, persönlichen Statements, Texte, Videos oder andere Formate an info@basis-frankfurt.de zu schicken, die wir dann online präsentieren und auf Social Media teilen.

Dear basis,
Now a few weeks have gone by since the corona crisis has worsened here in the country. A lot has happened since then. Contact has been cut off, shops and institutions closed and cultural events cancelled. At the same time, the government has launched various aid packages, many of which have been applied for.
We would like to get in touch with you in this context and ask you about your current experiences. How are you dealing with the crisis? What are you currently working on? Is there art production despite Corona? Which experiences are made with applications for help? What is the next step? How do you imagine cultural life after the crisis?
