We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Book Lung" by Timo Andersson at basis project space.

The exhibition is part of the three-month AIR_Offenbach residency of Timo Andersson at basis in collaboration with HIAP in Helsinki. The artist uses the basis project space as a field of experimentation for new works he created during his residency at basis.

His works subtly attempt to place themselves into the kind of nooks and crannies, porous surfaces and liminal spaces that sometimes seem at odds with the realities of the physical world.

Timo Andersson (b. 1989) is an artist based in Helsinki, Finland.  Having graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki with an MFA degree in 2018, he’s held solo exhibitions in Finland (Forum Box, Helsinki, 2021; Galerie Forsblom, Helsinki, 2018; Sinne, Helsinki, 2017; Titanik, Turku 2017) and US (PRACTISE, Oak Park, IL, 2019), as well as taken part in two-person and group shows in Finland and abroad.
